01.28.03 @ 3:43 pm "it's like being an author - you have to be free to use symbolism and allegory... to reach your goal." &of course the beauty in our minds reflects through our pens and onto the paper but if you bled from your heart would beauty drip out in crimson teardrops containing metaphors like these? the balls of crumbled up paper crying on the floor tell scribbled stories of pain ended too abrubtly or not even ended at all [rather killed before the truth was written/killed before the climax was revealed]. &all of these rough drafts one day will be scriptures; to be worshipped as the Bible and revered just the same, and their author will be some untouchable peasant to be held up at a godly level and she will hate herself for every speck of time occupied with writing bullshit for the fools to soak up and choke down as truth. the clouds will part and the sun will never again rear its bright head; the whole world will praise the stars for light; light and its synonyms like luminescence &awakening &animation &all other words regarding intellectuals like themselves. but the words i write down have no meaning; they are not hand, nor foot, nor life, nor death, nor any other part essential to your lives. with every crumbled up paper shaping my coffin and with every ounce of wasted ink there come days like these- you think of arrogance, but in reality: just another crumbled up/thrown away story. << >> SN–— M |
